About the CPMRA












The Center for Public Management and Regional Affairs engages in applied public policy and management research, technical assistance services, training and education, and database development in the areas of public management and capacity building, local government economic development, planning, and public program evaluation and policy research. The Center provides assistance to local governments (counties, municipalities, and townships) in southwestern Ohio and across the state.

August 2008 - Project Highlights

Ohio Township Association Statewide Survey
The OTA, in partnership with the Center, is administering a survey in June to all elected township officials across the state. The survey will aid the OTA in determining future Summer and Winter Conference workshop ideas, formulate a legislative agenda and provide an updated source of general issues and trends among townships. The survey results will be used to issue a "State of Ohio Townships" report. The survey and report will become a biennial project. The deadline to respond to the survey has been extended. Working with Local Officials

The Center’s primary efforts are directed toward research and assistance to small/non-metropolitan cities, villages, townships, and counties. Center projects are initiated upon request from local governments or by Center staff as an ongoing program for various local governments in the region and statewide.
